1936 GMC Fire Truck. The first motorized fire apparatus in the Poland Fire Company Fire District. They purchased the chase and then sent it to Sanford fire truck Co. to have the whole back half fabricated and changed to a fire engine style body fit with a hose bed, pump, and equipment mounts and holders. most recently my self and a few firefighters have taken on the task of restoring the truck to its original fire truck state. completely redoing the motor. fixing all the damaged Crome, refinishing the hose bed and running boards. My mission is to bring this piece of history back to life to bring to car shows and to continue the memory on where the Fire company started.

A fellow coffee drinker bought this truck, and I was heart broken. He came to coffee 2 years later mad, because his wife wanted that piece of S^% t out of her yard. George "Just how much to remove that piece of S&%? He gave me a price and I stuck my hand in his face to close the deal. Before he had time to think and say NO, the deal was made. Went home and told my wife that I bought another truck "Say that again, I missed something about you buying another truck"
