THIS IS US! JIM CARTER TRUCK PARTS AT 45 YEARS

Thank you, thank you, for so many great customers like you that have helped our company reach our 45th Anniversary. We are so proud to have reached this milestone.
This is Jim Carter, I am still very active as when I started restoring my first pickup, a 1950 Chevy 1/2 ton and needed parts! It now sits in our Lobby!

Jim Carter - President

The owner and founder! Business began as a part time business about 1981 in his home garage selling 1950's GM bed strips and wood planks. The hobby soon became a full time operation as older truck popularity grew. He remains on the premises full time, involved in the various departments. Jim is at all of our many swap meets out of state, works daily with the many suppliers, develops new parts to have manufactured and keeps his eye on the many company departments

Jim has tackled most all the jobs over the years and has grown with the company!


Lynn - General Manager

Lynn is our General Manager. Her extensive experience with our company, (over 30 years), has given her the necessary understanding to develop leadership qualities to fit our management requirements. Much of her time is spent daily handling operations of each department in the company, on the phone with our many vendors, suppliers and customers having extra need’s. Lynn handles interviews with potential employees, decides who remains with our company, manages most all company meetings, takes outside classes, etc. She even arranges our five catalogs before printing. Actually, she knows almost all that happens in our company. As business is doing well, Lynn's duties are never done!

John-Sales

John is one of our most experienced sales people. He has been with us managing customer phone calls and sometimes our front counter since October 2012. In between waiting on our customers, he is managing our online orders and answering emails. He is so good helping with our customers, we do not dare move him from his important position.

He owns a calmer auto now, however in years past, some great memories come from driving a 1978 Firebird. Those were the days!

TRUDY - Accounting Office

Trudy has been with us now for a few months and as she has fit in well it seems she has been here for years working in our accounting department. She is a great addition to our company and our staff. She came with a background in Accounting,Management, and warehouse. She loves sports like our KC Chiefs and she loves playing Volleyball and spending time with her grandkids as often as she can. She has worked extra hard to straighten out our accounting office, processes, and getting things on track and in order. We are thankful we have found such a great match!

Karie – Inventory Office

We brought Karie in a few months ago now. Great to have her on board. She has over 20 years’ experience in the automotive field with parts and ordering. She is very good at doing the research to find the parts we need to help with your truck restoration. We are very thankful we found her, she is a great addition to our team.

Bobbi

Bobbi is a great addition the Jim Carter team. She has been with us for 4 years now and knows just about all there is to know about our shipping department. When anyone needs a quote or questions about shipping they go directly to Bobbi. And she Love’s our KC sports teams!
