I purchased my 1955 Chevy Truck in 1993 for $3,000.00 and just finished it this month. As you can see the frame has been modified with a 1973 4x4 Chevy Blazer running gears. The transmission is a Turbo 350 and the engine is a stock 350 Chevy. It's also equipped with a Vintage heating and air condition unit. The seat is a 40/60 bench from a 1993 full size Chevy pick up. The dash is Dakota Digital. The interior matches the gray two-tone gray seat for the 1993 Chevy pick up and after market door panels, kick panels and head liner. The original radio still works with an additional hidden remote control stereo system underneath the seat. The bed has new oak planks that look just outstanding. There's also a tilt steering column by I-Did-It. The engine compartment is mostly dressed out with polished aluminum accessories. One last thing thanks to Jimmy Carter I was able to purchase some of the hard to get items for my truck.
