Jim Carter Trivia: Beginning in 1950 the panel trucks stopped using wood plank floors like used in pickups. This was to stop outside fine road dust from entering the storage area when on dirt and gravel roads. Planks were replaced with grooved plywood and used the same bed strips. Thus, all looked the same!
