Jim Carter Truck Parts could not resist remaking these after seeing an old display board from an auto parts store at a local swap meet. These were sold to walk-in customers that could no longer completely close their 1947-63 Chevrolet / GMC truck doors. The moveable latch flipper had been worn down and could no longer correctly meet the striker plate. Very unsafe! Usually eliminates the replacement of an expensive door latch. Builds up the otherwise worn edge that connects to striker plate. Invented in the 1960s, and then sold at auto parts stores.We have reproduced them for many years. Slips over the worn pointer on latch in seconds! Sold each.
