1937-1962 Fenton Cast Iron Headers Gives a New Look and Sound to your 6 Cylinder Chevrolet Truck or Car
Authority given by the original manufacturer to produce these in demand era accessories. These cast iron headers are exact in every detail as originals 70 years ago, including Fenton lettering. The resulting dual pipes on your early pickup will cause that special six cylinder purr, so often heard in past years. Nothing sounds like Fenton duals on Chevrolet six cylinder engines. Lower exhaust back pressure gives better performance! Sold in a set. IMPORTANT: When you add Fenton Headers to your six cylinder, they do not add heat to the intake manifold. For the best engine performance, a WARMING KIT is needed and available from Jim Carter Truck Parts. Thus, fuel is quickly warmed as it leaves the carburetor as was designed by General Motors. Check HPM543 OR HPM544. JIM CARTER TRIVIA: These headers were designed by Mr. Fenton in the 1950's and perfectly line up with the 1937 through 1962 Chevy six cylinder engine. One of the two headers perfectly lines up with the rear original GM single exhaust pipe. In this way half of the GM factory exhaust system could still be used. This was a good selling point in the 1950's when money was tight among the younger drivers that usually bought them. BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: In addition to our most popular color Black, we can now also provide Black Porcelain that gives a glass look. (See HP102BLK).
