Do you really need a booster on your new master cylinder, if you convert to disc brakes? We provide a dual chambered master cylinder that will work well without a booster unit; thus no need to connect an extra vacuum line to your engine. (We recommend a proportioning valve, HP169) Use your original foot pedal with our mounting bracket HP161. Jim Carter Trivia: When disc brake Chevrolet cars were introduced in the mid 1960's, they were not equiped with a power booster as standard equipment. This was usually an option.
