The 1940-1953 tail lights produced over the past 30 years are not designed to hold the original larger 21 candle power stop light bulb! We have created a bracket for inside of these tail lights that eliminates the small three candle power bulb and allows for the large original 21 CP stop light bulb. With this change over your stop lights will be seen easier and at a greater distance. Get the most out of your original tail lights and lessen accident potential. ( These change over brackets are not included with the 1940-1953 newer complete tail lights) NOTE: LG172 is our part number for the 6 volt 21 candle power stop light bulb (12 volt bulb is LG285) that you will need for this bracket.
