Note:If you prefer a rebuild kit for your original glass top fuel pump, Check ME228. Jim Carter Trivia: During the mid 1950's Chevy went to this pump totally and eliminated the expensive "glass top" unit. Comes with gasket. NOTE: Very Important! New fuel pumps NOW have a modern internal material. Once instaled, your six cylinder engine MUST be brought up to normal operating temperature while idling. Then will it operate correctly. Only this one time and it will be good for it's life!
