Removes wear from the original 3 speed transmission shift tower for a tighter shift. When your knuckles almost hit the glove box when shifting into second gear, you need this kit, Includes brass bushing, spring, and instruction sheet. IMPORTANT: Transmission top is removed from case to have kit installed but the large transmission case remains in the vehicle. Also correct for 1938 and older Chevrolet cars. This kit was introduced in the mid 1950s to give a tighter shift on so many 3 speeds that had developed this problem. Sold each.
