The speaker opening for these Chevy Truck speakers is designed to accomodate MOST 4" speakers. However, speaker cones and the basket sizes can vary from brand to brand, and even sometimes from series to series within the same brand. We have found that the Kicker CS and Kicker KS speakers generally fit the best. The other thing to keep in mind is the mounting depth. These kick panels usually need speakers with a mounting depth that is less than 1-15/16" (50mm). You also want to make sure that the speakers do not have overly bulky speaker grilles that may interfere with the the parking brake.
