Replaces the original wide 5/8" belt 6 volt generator with a 5/8" wide belt 12 volt alternator. Has internal voltage regulator which has about 50 amp charging capacity (about twice the original generator). These alternators are especially rebuilt to charge at this amount to protect your rare original in-dash amp from receiving too many amp at one time when charging a "totally" dead battery. Negative ground only. Note: These are rebuilt AC Delco original GM alternators with the modern one wire system, not after-market units! Use with alternator bracket HP130 or HP131. Sold each.
