This is Jim Carter, I am still very active as when I started restoring my first pickup, a 1950 Chevy 1/2 ton and needed parts! It now sits in our Lobby!

Bought in working order in the Vancouver BC area in May 1985. Drove around BC and Alberta all summer and then home 30 miles south of Quebec City. Used it as working truck for a few years and stored cause running the plates out and a day,late to renew (need inspection) Around 2008, my brother in law, as an excellent bodyman (learned from his father) offered me to help rebuild the old Apache in the winter... So here it is in May 2023…

We purchased this back in 2021 as a father-daughter project. Originally a Manitoba truck, the picture attached is how we got it. After some brake work, exhaust, and fuel system work, it fired up. We have pretty much kept as is and plan to do so.

5 window with Manley wrecker conversion. : I have had the truck since the early 70s. It was a service tow truck at a local gas station since new. I have used it for my own shop tow truck until I retired in the late 90s. She is now ready to be restored.

Originally my dad’s. Traded a 60 Corvette for it so four boys wouldn’t fight over it. Left it to me in his will and I learned how to drive in this truck.

This truck is a 20 year old build, recently gone through a mechanical rebuild, 350 Chevy, turbo 350, 1969 Nova front clip, 8.5” ten bolt rear end and complete rewire. Body and upholstery left intact.
