This was the last pickup our grandfather had on his farm in southern Colorado. My brother and I have taken turns restoring and maintaining it for the last 30 years. It still has the original 6 cylinder 235 cubic inch engine with 4 speed manual transmission.

My 1954 GMC 100

Name : Jake Price

Year : 1970

Model : Chevrolet C10 1/2 ton

Tell us about your truck :

My uncle bought the truck on June 4, 1970. He drove that thing, all over the state of Virginia, going to auctions and stuff like that. You always knew my uncle was there when you saw that blue Chevy. Unfortunately we lost my uncle more than 20 yrs ago and my cousin inherited the truck. The truck was soon parked in my cousins back yard. There it sit for over two decades with trees and weeds, growing around the truck. . My cousin always meaning to work on the truck truck just never had the freedom to. A few months ago he finally sold her to me, and on Easter Sunday I got her started. The rocker panels are rusted out, but that’s about it. I do this in honor of a man who was more like a father to me. My uncle Jr.
