THIS IS US! JIM CARTER TRUCK PARTS AT 45 YEARS

Thank you, thank you, for so many great customers like you that have helped our company reach our 45th Anniversary. We are so proud to have reached this milestone.
This is Jim Carter, I am still very active as when I started restoring my first pickup, a 1950 Chevy 1/2 ton and needed parts! It now sits in our Lobby!

Tell us about your truck :

This truck has been in the family since 1957 then grandpa bought it. After serving a hard life on the family sugar beet farm, it was parked in the barn in 1972. December 15, 2024 we pulled it out and began it transformation. We removed the dump bed, pto and pump, shortened the wheelbase from 170 to 115 and installed a bed from a 1939 1/2 ton. After rebuilding the carb and replacing the water pump, the factory 235 engine purrs like a kitten. The rear axle was replaced with a 10 bolt from a Blazer. The front axle and suspension were replaced with a gasser axle kit from Speedway motors. The full rebuild can be watched here: https://youtu.be/nnli_5e1tOU?is=e_eHm3YaPRKGwkHN
