Jim Carter Manufactured
1934-1950 Screw Door ID Plate Retainer Screws (Clutch Head ) Chevrolet and GMC Pickup Truck
We have produced the correct ID plate clutch head treaded fasteners. In the days when most people did not lock their homes, Chevrolet actually used screw-in fasteners for their ID plates to secure them to the cowl or door post. Your 1950 and older truck is threaded to receive them. Jim Carter Trivia: We might have to educate our newer law-enforcement agencies that this is correct! The one way push-in fastener did not begin until 1951.
