This molded foam is just like the original. Replaces the 30 year old flat and collapsed foam and raises your seat cushion to the original level. NOTE: these seat foams only replace the original foam in the "deluxe" seat that originally comes with this thicker foam material. Will not fit the "standard" bench seat which has a thinner foam over lay.
