It was imported from the US to Norway in 2011 and subsequently restored. I saw it for sale in early 2021, but missed out on buying it. 2 years later I managed to track down the guy who bought it and convinced him to sell it to me. So now it is parked here in Denmark next to my 1941 CMP Chevrolet.

Name : Ted Bealer

Purchased from a gas station in Hollister MO, summer of 1991. Pretty rough, but a solid driver. Left at my Dad's place in the Ozarks while serving overseas in the Air Force. Returned in 1998 and towed the truck to O'Fallon IL. Restoration by Ben Etling, Schaeffer Automotive, Belleville IL Kept the rebuilt 216, updated tranny to a T5, open drive shaft, with late model Blazer differential. New Dolphin gauges, bed wood, after-market radio & heater; installed twin Daytona carbs & split exhaust manifold. Fun driver!

I hope you enjoy the pictures and Thank you for considering using them. GOD Bless and keep on supplying those great parts so we are able to keep these old girls on the road.

Year : 1946

Model : 1/2 ton Chevrolet truck

Tell us about your truck :

1946 Chevrolet 1/2 ton truck. I’ve owned it since 2007. I changed out the cracked block 216 for a 235 years ago. Other than the engine swap commonly done in the 1950s, the truck is essentially stock. The truck was featured in Vintage Truck magazine in 2022. Many parts were sourced from Jim Carter Truck Parts.
