This is Jim Carter, I am still very active as when I started restoring my first pickup, a 1950 Chevy 1/2 ton and needed parts! It now sits in our Lobby!

Bought truck in Bakersfield Indiana three years ago. Took it down to bare frame,boxed frame and installed a aftermarket mustang 11 front end. Replaced firewall and floor. Replaced bed of truck removed lots of dings and finishing body work. Has a .030 cu in 350 700R4 transmission 66 Nova rear end posi with 373 gears.

I bought this truck in 2022. It was an old wheat farm flatbed grain truck from Montana. It had been originally restored in 1997 with addition of a SBC 350 V8 engine, automatic transmission and a gear vendor auxiliary overdrive. I have since added a firewall mounted power brake system with all new brake lines, power steering, new wiring harness and a newer Dana 80 dually rear axle with disc brakes. I am getting ready to install a custom independent front suspension with disc brakes and power rack and pinion steering.
