I purchased this truck in 1991 as a project for the price of $450.00, the restoration took six years and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, the wife hit a guard rail with it during the process and got thrown out the door and earned the nick name "The I-40 Roller" . Luckily the damage was not too severe to either her or the truck! We repaired the damage and continued to the finish of the restoration. I no longer have pictures of it's condition at the time of purchase but let me just say that it was not pretty, however the fact that it was a Cheyenne Model with very little rust led me to believe that it was worth the time, money and effort. No drivetrain, no bumpers, no wheels or tires, both trailing arms were extremely bent, the dash had been, pilfered, the interior was torn and battered, setting in a ditch outside of the owners house. Okay, I've owned this truck for 34 years and have never regretted the decision I made to restore it. Every time I get in it and turn the key, I'm glad that I bought it, not to mention all of the compliments and admiring looks I get while cruising down the highway.

This is the last AD in our 5 generations that have owned an AD truck. She’s been as faithful as any truck I’ve ever owned from hauling farm supplies, pulling a trailer, photo shoots to parades.
