Jake the Truck is a 1951 Chevy 3600. Has freshly overhauled 1955 235. Factory 4 speed. Only about 400-500 miles on the engine. New wiring harness. New Tires and brakes (LT215/85R16). Just swapped the 4.56 third member with a 4.10. The bottom is pretty clean. I had the entire underside treated with Woolwax. The radio is replaced with a modern stock looking retro radio that does AM/FM and Bluetooth. 1936 Chevy low Cab Truck Dually 1.5-ton steak body survivor/restoration. All original driveline remains and runs - 207ci 6 cyl stove bolt engine, 4 speed manual transmission, dual wheel 1.5-ton chassis. This truck was a swpa farm truck until 1969 and was placed in garage until 2021. Original 55,000 miles, paint/pin stripe on cab and body. Interior original paint gauges. 5 year project in restoring this truck to current excellent original condition. I bought this for my father who is in his 80s as a project we worked on to complete. It is now finished and he is not able to drive over health conditions. He wants to sell it now and ask me to list it. This truck has many hours of work, everything works. Many new parts, The chassis was stripped and painted black New brake hard and rubber lines, drums cut in nice condition, new brakes and brake springs, adjusted and working as they should. Front and rear wheel studs/nuts are all new studs made at machine shop out of 304 stainless to replace the original worn studs that are obsolete. Wiring on chassis replaced, cab is spotless, wood in cab is perfect, and head lights replaced and work, has optional turn signals on front and rear that work, parking/headlights all work Engine is 207 runs excellent. Was removed, opened and inspected, degreased, checked, new oil lines for beehive, filter, engine pan and oil tubes hot tanked, painted, new gaskets and replaced. new plugs, new point, new filter and pump, water pump seal and greased, new belt, new hoses, new antifreeze, remains 6v system all original generator working and starter. Clutch inspected good no issues. Sealed drive shaft greased, rear dif fluid replaced, trans fluid replaced Parking hand brake was rebuilt, adjusted, lubed and works New custom PA red oak steak body made to original steak body dimensions and stained. New piecrust edge bias 20x6 tires and tubes, rimes blasted and painted red. (coker tires are $500 ea) 6 tires Original front seat was reupholstered new marine brown vinyl ($1200) New aftermarket steel floor pan original glass This truck is a great example of an original 1936 Chevy Low Cab Truck ton and half. It is also up for sale.

Local barn find. It was covered with blankets with very little rust but full of acorns in every void. Last tagged in 1969. I got the original 216 running but it was tired. I found a 1956 235 and rebuilt it and installed. Runs great and I love to drive it on the backroads!
